If you have contacts in the Zoom Chat application, it's pretty simple: copy most anything -- text, images, PDF documents -- on Windows or Mac, then put the cursor in the Message area on the Zoom Chat screen when chatting with any of your contacts, press Control-V to paste. A mini-version will show up in your window; press the blue Send arrow, and the file is sent.
Note that in most cases the file has to be downloaded by the recipient, since Zoom Chat won't preview documents in the Zoom Chat window.

I'm not sure if any of this applies to you, of course, but I do always recommend that you have the most recent Zoom Client installed for your platform. I'm not sure if there are more details you can share In some cases I think the Zoom Client might see the data in the pasting material and declare it to be ineligible for pasting due to a format mismatch with the destination field.
Other than that, not sure what to tell you God bless and stay safe. Yes, you can upload a local recording to a cloud storage service such as Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc Please see step-by-step instructions below on how to share Zoom Local Recordings:.
Cloud Recordings do not need to be downloaded. They can simply be streamed online. However, although it is possible for local recordings to be streamed on the cloud service that they are being shared on, it is highly suggested to download local recordings instead and play them locally instead of streaming them on the cloud service, as steaming.
Here are a few security measures that you can implement throughout the process of sharing a Recording in order to ensure the security and access restriction to your recording. While Cloud Recording is available only for paid subscribers, Local Recording is available to free and paid subscribers. Local recording allows participants to record meeting video and audio locally to a computer. The recorded files can be uploaded to a file storage service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or a streaming service like YouTube or Vimeo.
